Napkin Folds on Videos : Napkin folding triangle - Pliage en triangle
To fold a napkin into a triangle, begin with it fully opened on the table, in a square shape. Fold the lower edge upward halfway. Fold the upper edge downward so it meets the lower edge. Using both hands, firmly smooth your progress by pressing and moving your hands from the center to the outer edges.
You are now seeing a rectangle that is quite long, horizontally-speaking. Take the lower right side of your rectangle and fold it up at an angle leading to the left, so that its point reaches the center of the layer that is now below it. This should form a triangle leading up from the right side.
Take the point at the upper right and fold it down at an angle, again to the left, and let its point meet the lower edge of the layer now beneath it. This forms a new triangle whose lower edge is perfectly aligned with that of the layer below.
Take the lower right point and fold it up and to the left, so that its point meets the upper edge.
Rotate the napkin 90 degrees clockwise. You should now be looking at a shape with a square up top and a triangle at the bottom—the point of the triangle being located on your right. Take the lower point of that triangle and fold it up and to the left, so that its point meets the left edge.
The lower layer of the napkin shows a triangle whose point is at your upper right. Hide this triangle, by pulling its point into the gap in the triangular layer above it. Straighten the top edge of this pocket.
If you have done all the steps properly, you should now be looking at a napkin which has been perfectly folded into a small triangle shape.
